This is the first set in a new series I have created called "Seasonal SEL" which will include monthly seasonal themed activities with a different SEL theme.

This resource includes NOVEMBER activities with the theme: RESPONSIBLE DECISION MAKING.

5 engaging activities for students to practice identifying and naming feelings

1. Responsible Decision Making: A Step-by-Step-Guide Mini Book:

- includes multiple versions

-color or black and white

-differentiated versions- 1 with pictures and added text and 1 with just pictures and headings

2. Decision Maker Badge Craftivity:

- interactive craft!

- students flip the pages on the round part of the badge to show examples of responsible decisions they have made.

3. Decisions, Decisions Poem:

- engaging poem that teaches students steps to make a responsible decision

- includes a version with 3 comprehension questions

4. What's Your Vote? Game:

- clip card game

- students look at a picture and vote YES or NO if it shows a responsible decision by placing their clip (clothespin or paperclips work great!) on the "YES" or "NO" box on the card

5. Cast Your Vote Writing:

- Students will look at two choices and cast their vote on which one they want. They will then write a sentence telling why. Choices are kid-friendly!
